So I missed this post originally and have finally gotten around to checking out Eilen...online, at least. She does sound good. I like her kind blend of some old timey sound with a bit of a jazz flavor mixed in with some good ol' hillbilly swing...not unlike a Mark Erelli tune!
I don't see anything local any time soon...well, in Santa Rosa as an opener for Chuck Prophet in December. Call me lazy, but even with as far as I drive for very special people, that's a bit out of range for a Friday night and someone I've never seen before for an opening set. I'll keep an eye if she plays somewhere closer.
