Admittedly, that list has some AWESOME people on it...and I would SOOOO vote for Mark Erelli, but I just can't bring myself to do that against Catie. Sorry Mark! I really would like to be able to vote for Crooked Still...and Chris Pureka...and Patty Griffin too! Not so much for Chris Smither or Ellis Paul. Though they're not horrible, they just aren't my cup of tea.
Lori McKenna is all over the lists too: Act of The Year, Album of The Year (Major), National Female Vocalist of The Year, and Song of The Year. Since I love Lori and she and Mark are such a team, I kind of feel like I'm voting for Mark when I voted for Lori. I know, that's a cop out...but oh well!
