I saw Catie at the Moab Folk festival Nov. 3 and she sang an amazing song about Joshua Trees - but I can't find it listed on any of her CDs!  Does anyone know the name of this song, or where I might be able to buy or download it?

Hi Jan...and welcome!
That song is lovely, but it's also new and not yet on any release.  I believe she said it'll be on the new one she's working on.  She's still writing and getting ready to record soon.  She's said that she'll "record in Nashville, Tennessee this winter with hopes of an August 2008 release."  So stay tuned!!

Gosh...this reminds me that I forgot to do my Berkeley posts...even after taking notes on my Treo!  Okay, I'll get to that soon. Smiley

How cool that Catie has written a song about Joshua Trees!  I would imagine the song has nothing to do with U2, but they are my favorite band EVER and the fact that my favorite singer EVER has written a song that has the same name as one of U2's many phenomenal CDs feels so full circle.  I can't wait to hear it!  So what is it about?
