The new year thing has come and gone...and so has the Super Bowl & Valentine's Day...wow!  Hope all of those things were good for you...even if you were a Pats fan.  Wink

Lot's going on in Catie's world...family, a variety of shows, sandwich stealing squirrels, and new album recording...woo hoo!  All you lucky folks east of the Rockies and in New England in particular are the lucky ones that have been getting to hear some of the newer songs that she's been "auditioning" to put on the new CD.  I hope you've added your votes for which ones you want to make the next CD on her Guestbook.

When it comes to the Random Catie part of this post, I've got to mention that I've got a Google Alert set for Catie Curtis.  That means that I get notices of various sorts of random links and places where people have mentioned her.  Many of those are just show listings or referencing her in comparison to someone else, but now and then, I'll get a link to a new review or someone's blog posting that mentions Catie.  It's a good way to find tidbits to share with you on this forum or in the blog...like this one.

The random one I saw today just struck me and made me smile...Catie is on the play list of the out lesbian, Democratic Idaho State Representative Nicole LeFavour!!  Awesome!!

Not only fun to know that...but what a wonderful surprise...to find out that there even IS an out, Dem lesbian legislator in freakin' IDAHO!!  Little blue bright spots do exist, Virginia.  Grin  Now we just need to get Rep. LeFavour to grace us with a comment or two about her appreciation of or favorite Catie songs! Cheesy
